Rebrand for a bioengineering start-up

For pharmaceutical, clinical and academic research institutions Modulux3D is the advancement in 3D Bioprinting that delivers faster, more precise and more reliable results than the competition, ultimately leading to a more efficient and ethical future in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. In short, 3D bioprinted organs allow for more efficient pharmaceutical testing without the need for animal testing!

The new logo is made up of a dynamic image mark that represents this movement towards a more ethical, efficient and sustainable pharma industry. The technology works with light waves that 3D print organ models in an enclosed space, a process that is portrayed abstractly in the image mark, where a light wave, conveniently also forming an “M”, sits inside a circle.

Lato was selected as a clean and reliable open access google font that is serious but also friendly. With its combination of sharp and rounded edges it represents the technical and human elements of the Modulux3D brand.
